23 Things That I learnt when I was 23

  1. Sometimes it is worth letting go of something that makes you unhappy
  2. One door closes, another door opens.
  3. You don't live to please people
  4. It is not wrong to have your own opinions on things
  5. Always be brave to stand up on your own
  6. There will always be a rainbow after every storm
  7. It is perfectly normal to just cry when things don't go right because if you don't cry, you probably won't be able to move forward.
  8. People come and go in your life. If someone is still there in your life for you throughout all these while and despite whatever, it means that you mean a lot to them.
  9. Never settle for something that you less than deserve
  10. When you wake up each day, you have a choice to either start off happy and end the day happy as well...or you can wake up being cranky and feel like nothing will ever go right
  11. People will always be a pain in the ass
  12. My favourite past-time is ignoring
  13. Don't let small things get to you.
  14. A "last seen" or double blue ticks does not determine your friendship level or any relationships status
  15. It is perfectly alright to go out and have a meal alone.
  16. Whatever you see on instagram or facebook is not real
  17. Sometimes the only way to be happy is to get rid of all the toxins in your life
  18. People will always have things to say but if you ignore it and just continue living your life, you will be alright.
  19. As much as you think that shit won't get better, it eventually will.
  20. Treat others as how you would like to be treated.
  21. For every unhappy moment or sadness, think of the brighter happier times you've had with that person.
  22. Never stoop to a low-life
  23. Today is the oldest you've been and the youngest you'll ever be again.
